These are our finest oil colours, hand crafted with Walnut Oil and added Water-Washed Walnut Oil! Each tube is hand filled and hand labeled. We do not use alkyds, lead, turpentine, cobalt, or cadmium in the paints, and there are no solvents of any kind in them. These are Artist Grade paints, with high concentrations of pigment. Although walnut oil dries somewhat slower than linseed oil, it does not yellow over time – vibrant colors are extremely important. The use of walnut oil dates back at least to the mid-1400s — in paintings that are still admired by museum visitors in the twenty-first century!

These are hand made paints. We fill the tubes after you place your order. For this reason, it sometimes takes 5-7 days for us to get your order ready to ship. We try to deliver the very best paints available for your art!
