Description
Safflower oil has been used for years as a basic oil in white paints. It is considered less yellowing than other oils – however it dries more slowly. Because of this slow drying rate, some manufacturers add metal driers to it. However, ours is pure without additives. Safflower oil is considered very durable but may become slightly more brittle over time than linseed oil. It is still used with white and light colors by many manufacturers.
