My motto, “Take Time to Find the Unseen” is realized through Symbolism, the language of my art. I explore the deeper meanings of things which I bring to light by faithfully representing the seen, exterior of objects while revealing an internal, unseen spirit. As a painter of still life set in landscapes using magical realism and philosophic whimsy, I create quirky arrangements of objects and personified characters expressing enchanting tales. For me, they become a means for uncovering the veiled layers of reality cultivating conscious awareness of my life path. I love finely blended, rich colors and naturalistic details using solvent-free, cold-pressed walnut oil paint on eco-friendly panels.
